I've worked bars and boardrooms. I've apprenticed as a tattoo artist and body piercer, studied animation and directing, sold paintings through Gauteng galleries, and spent nearly 14 years at an agency, working my way up to Creative Director.
Lockdown brought the brushes, camera and keyboard back out. In 2026 I went fully freelance and back to making things myself: art, design, video, writing, and small apps built with AI tools.
I think AI will push every creative to work across disciplines rather than just direct them. Turns out I've been training for that my whole life. Wherever the work goes, it's still about people and art.
